ssshaocong I played the first song on this EP (‘Weekend Warrior’) and the next thing I knew I had put on my robe and wizard hat. Favorite track: Weekend Warrior.

Once upon a time you knew A hero you would be A knight among the chosen few A champion of the free You came of age responsibly, And you did the rightful thing From 9 to 5, indelibly, In service to the king Now years have passed, The dreams are lost, Well they're buried in the sand Of a life you chose at great a cost Much more than you could stand And for a time, all things were right You forgot that hallowed stage But in the quiet dark of night A storm began to rage When the working day is done You will answer to no one There’s nothing left to fear Because Friday night is here Weekend Warrior Weekend Warrior In the dead of the night You'll be fighting the fight There'll magic and might, There'll be fire and light, You're a Warrior Weekend Warrior A double life you now must lead In the ashes of your sleep. Inside you lies a burning need As your job, you try to keep. From dawn to dusk, a company man, By the bosses you abide But in the night by Gods you stand To battle you will ride. Now the time has come to claim The glory and the pain Reach out to the sky And spread your wings and fly Now the days are long, And the nights grow longer still Still a balance you fulfil With the power of Indomitable will Seek your destiny In the harmony Of the light you'll see That the Gods will set you free

Valkyrie 04:44
Relentless they soar O’er the battlefields of war On bloodied wings they take flight As death stalks the night. With the clash of the sword No quarter you accord When the sweat and the blood flows The nightmare grows. For a taste of the glory, You'll fight to the end, All your enemies to hell, You will send. For the cries of the slain And the lives lost in vain You will carry on and fight through the pain. Valkyrie (Crush kill and destroy all who would stand in our way) Valkyrie (Fight, vanquish all fear, ride forth and seize the day) On the wings of the night, To the sky we take flight and be free Together we will, Valkyrie. The day turns to night As the vultures delight Your legs turn to lead Yet still onward you tread (Through the) Carnage you gaze Through the heat and the haze The steel in your hand Gives you courage to stand To the strains of Valhalla’s song Countless they fall But few are the Warriors they call As the arrows, they fly You look Death in his eye And you pray that the Gods hear your cry Now the darkness draws near, Know there's nothing to fear Death has no claim Hear them calling your name From the heavens they ride As the skies open wide On the wings of the dawn Your spirit is borne To the chosen of Odin You'll always belong All your deeds immortal in song As you claim your last victory Finally you see The halls of eternity free

about

The year is 2021, and Pestilence has ravaged the land. As the hordes of the Faithful come to terms with the New Normal, the Prophets of the Gods of Metal emerge from the dark wilderness to find new avenues to spread the Holy Message of the Gods of Metal.

Riding forth on the wings of twin guitar harmonies and epic choruses, "I Think You're on Mute" tells of the constant struggle of everyday life and the fulfillment of their Manifest Destiny.
